Journal History

Jurnal Informatika dan Teknologi Pendidikan published its first issue in June 2021. Since its establishment, the journal has been committed to disseminating scholarly works in the fields of informatics, information technology, educational technology, and their applications in education.

On 15 October 2024, Jurnal Informatika dan Teknologi Pendidikan was accredited at SINTA 5 by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia. The accreditation was valid from Volume 1, Issue 2 (2021) through Volume 6, Issue 1 (2026).

On 24 July 2026, the journal achieved an improved accreditation status of SINTA 3, as designated by the Directorate General of Science and Technology, Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia. This accreditation is valid from Volume 5, Issue 2 (2025) through Volume 10, Issue 1 (2030).

As part of its commitment to strengthening its international visibility and expanding its global readership, Jurnal Informatika dan Teknologi Pendidikan adopted English as its primary publication language starting from Volume 6, Issue 2 (2026).

The journal continues to improve its editorial standards, peer-review process, publication quality, and international accessibility to support the advancement and dissemination of research in informatics and educational technology.
